Use of Past Continuous Tense - अपूर्ण भुत काल के उपयोग
Rule 1:
अपूर्ण भुत काल का प्रयोग वैसे कायों के लिए होता है, जो भुत काल मे जारी थे या हो रहे थे.

Rule 2:
जब दो कार्य भुत काल मे एक ही समय मे हो रहे हो, या जारी हों तो दोनों कार्यों के लिए अपूर्ण भूतकाल का प्रयोग होता है.

Rule 3:
जब get, become, grow Verb का प्रयोग past मे किसी कार्य मे उत्तरोतर increase या decrease का बोध कराने के लिए होता है, तो इसके साथ अपूर्ण भूतकाल का प्रयोग होता है.
